Project Overview
Apple Developer Academy Project - 2025
Skills: Interaction design, UX Design, UI Design, UX Research
Time spend: 36 weeks
My role: I worked as Product Designer / UX/UI Designer, responsible for helping define the problem, mapping user journeys, designing flows and interfaces, building prototypes and collaborating with the development team on implementation decisions.
Project type:
Case developed at the Apple Developer Academy | PUCPR, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of designers and developers.
Project Summary:
The project explores how a mobile experience can support young adults in building and maintaining healthy habits, focusing specifically on physical activity. Aloong uses group-based tracking and accountability so users don’t feel alone in the process: they can join or create groups, log workouts and follow each other’s progress in a friendly, low-pressure way.

The Challenge
Young adults often face obstacles in managing their habits, planning workouts and keeping an active routine, which leads to frustration and discouragement. The challenge was to encourage and boost healthy habits with a solution that feels motivating, simple and realistic for busy daily lives.

Solution
Solution statement: A group-based activity tracking app that motivates young adults to keep exercising.
Aloong allows users to:
Create or join groups of friends to share activity goals;
Log workouts and track their own evolution over time;
See the group’s progress, using social presence as a gentle push to stay active.
The design focuses on clear flows, friendly visuals and straightforward actions, reducing friction when starting or maintaining an exercise routine.

Results
The project resulted in a high-fidelity iOS app concept that communicates a clear problem–solution fit: using groups and shared progress to make healthy habits feel more achievable and less lonely. It strengthened my experience designing habit-forming products and collaborating within the Apple Developer Academy environment.
